I've finally managed to get the few photos I took recently with my phone camera off the camera and onto a Mac. This one proves that Death Valley isn't just called a valley for the hell of it:
Some of the rest of the photos can be found in the full entry - it's a pretty big page, but I've tried to keep the images small (they're at lousy 640x480 resolution anyway) for sanity's sake.

While in Death Valley, the car met its sibling (the numberplates are consecutive)

...and visited Artists Palette (though the colours don't look good here - this page is much better than mine)

However, afterwards the driver was bright red with sunburn, as like a moron he'd had the roof down all day without wearing sunscreen. Check out the shadows from the sunglasses if the poor-quality photo doesn't make the extent of the redness obvious.
